Sustainability Initiatives

Swiss Sustainable Finance

SSF bolsters Switzerland's position as a global market for sustainable finance, not only by providing information and training, but also by promoting growth. Founded in 2014, the organisation has offices in Zurich, Geneva and Lugano. SSF consists of over 200 members and network partners, including financial services providers, investors, universities and universities of applied sciences, government offices and other organisations.

GRESB

GRESB is the leading system for measuring the sustainability performance of real estate companies and real estate funds. Assessments of seven different aspects result in the GRESB score, which makes a substantial contribution to improving sustainability transparency in the real estate sector.

UN PRI

The UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) are an investor initiative that was founded in 2006 in partnership with the United Nations Environmental Programme Finance Initiative and the UN Global Compact. Supported by the United Nations, this initiative is an international network of investors that has drawn up and works to implement six principles for responsible investment. The aim is to understand the implications of sustainability for investors and to support the signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment decisions. In doing so, the signatories are helping to make the global financial system more sustainable.

COPTIS

COPTIS was founded in 2011 by a group of stakeholders who are committed to the coherent development of services in the real estate securitisation sector in Switzerland, in particular those that are developed by its members in the context of current and future regulations.

Asset Management Association

The Asset Management Association Switzerland is the representative association of the Swiss asset management industry. It aims to strengthen Switzerland's position as a leading centre for asset management with high standards of quality, performance and sustainability. To this end, it supports its members in developing the Swiss asset management industry and creating added value for investors over the long term.

KGAST

SFP Investment Foundation has been a member of the Conference of Managing Directors of Investment Foundations since June 2019.

Member Swiss Circle

As the established networking and marketing organisation of the Swiss real estate industry, Swiss Circle organises exclusive networking events for real estate decision makers, represents Swiss real estate delegations at international real estate exhibitions, and supports and networks innovators, young companies and start-ups.

PropertyMatch is a unique joint venture between CBRE and GFI which combines the real estate market know-how of CBRE, the industry leader with the brokerage and settlement expertise of GFI, a globally renowned financial intermediary.

Educational Cooperation

ETH Foundation

Together with committed individuals, companies and foundations, the ETH Foundation helps to shift the boundaries of knowledge and accelerate innovation by promoting teaching and research at ETH Zurich.

Universität Zürich CUREM

The further education courses offered by the Centre for Urban & Real Estate Management (CUREM) at the University of Zurich address ambitious specialists and managers in the fields of real estate management and spatial development.

HWZ

With more than 2 500 students and around 800 lecturers with professional experience, Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ) is the biggest part-time university for economics and business administration in Switzerland.

HSLU

Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the university of applied sciences of the six cantons of Central Switzerland. With around 8 300 students working towards a bachelor's or master's degree, an additional 5 200 students participating in CAS, DAS and MAS programmes and 400 new research and development projects, it is the largest university-level institution in Central Switzerland.
