Platinum SNBS certification for UNUS high-rise project in St. Gallen

Stefan Keller, President of the City Parliament of St. Gallen, presented the greetings of the City of St. Gallen and expressed his appreciation of the project. 

"Delivering instead of building" is the basic philosophy of UNUS (www.unus.ch). At Brauerstrasse in St. Gallen, each of the 70 apartments is prefabricated in series in the factory of the timber construction company and delivered as a completed module to the construction site. Built as a traditional solid structure, the parking garage provides pergola access to the building site, which has been prepared for the construction of the two buildings with 30 and 40 residential units respectively. This new type of construction is not only much more efficient than traditional on-site construction, it is also more ecological thanks to the more efficient processing of the raw materials. In an urban environment, these apartments offer high-quality living with private outdoor areas in the form of balconies, pergola access to create a meeting zone, and park-like landscaping.
