In the presence of the authorities, architects, specialist planners and owner representatives, the ground-breaking ceremony marked the official start of construction work on the Zentrum Dorfstrasse in Schöftland.
In the new residential and commercial building, Coop will realise an enlarged sales area that meets the needs of the location. In addition, a two-storey parking lot and 36 apartments with shared outdoor space will be built. Construction will take place in two stages. Completion of the first stage with 24 residential units is planned for spring 2026. The construction project will be finalised in autumn 2027.
